Rafael Contreras

Rafael Contreras is a former soccer player who played for various clubs in the Mexican Liga Mayor in the late 1940s .

In the 1945/46 season Contreras was with the Asociación Deportiva Orizabeña (ADO) under contract and scored both goals on the first match day in the home game against Club Atlas for the 2-0 victory of the Albinegros . Contreras scored a total of six goals this season and in the 5-1 home win against Club América on December 2, 1945, he managed another "double".

In the following season 1946/47 Contreras played for city ​​rivals Moctezuma and scored only one goal that season in the 4-2 away win against Club Atlas on August 25, 1946.

In the 1948/49 season Contreras was under contract with the capital club Asturias and scored a total of three goals; the first of all against his former club ADO, which was defeated 5-1 on September 30, 1948.
