Liga Mayor 1946/47
The 1946/47 season was the fourth season of the Mexican professional football league, which at that time still operated under the name Liga Mayor .
Changes
After there had been three newcomers in each of the previous two seasons, but no leavers, there was a departure for the first time after the 1945/46 season , which was played with 16 teams. The badly shaken as a result of an accident CF Monterrey had withdrawn after the previous season and no other club had been added, so that the 1946/47 season was played with a total of 15 teams.
