Liga MX 2015/16

The 2015/16 season of the Mexican Football League MX began on Friday, July 24, 2015 with the match between the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz and the Chivas Guadalajara (2-0). The first goal of the season came from Uruguayan midfielder Juan Ángel Albín , who gave the hosts the lead in the 61st minute. Seven minutes later, the Argentine striker Julio Furch made it 2-0 in favor of the home side.

The first round championship (Apertura 2015) was won by the UANL Tigres , the second round championship (Clausura 2016) by CF Pachuca .

Changes

The end of the preseason relegated club Universidad Leones Negros Guadalajara , who had previously been promoted to the top flight only a year, will be replaced by the newly promoted the preseason , Dorados de Sinaloa that are already in the seasons before 2004/05 and 2005/06 in the first division was represented.
