Career

society

The Uruguayan Juan Albín comes from the youth teams Nacional Montevideos . For the club he played since 2000, initially in the youth, from 2004 mainly in the first team. With Club Nacional he was able to win three championship titles.

In the summer of 2006, the South American made the leap to Europe, where he signed on with Getafe FC . In his first season he even reached the cup final with his team, but his team failed at Sevilla FC . Nevertheless, he and his team were able to qualify for the UEFA Cup for the first time in the 2007/08 season.

After five years and more than one hundred games for the Madrid suburban club, he moved to league rivals Espanyol Barcelona in the summer of 2011 . There he played only 13 league games (two goals) for the Catalans in the following two seasons. He was also used three times in the cup. Albín, who had a contract with Barcelona that was dated until 2016 and received one of the highest salaries in the team, returned to Uruguay in January 2013 for six months and was again on loan in the 2013 Clausura in the Nacionals squad. For the Bolsos Albín ran in five games (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores and eight games (one goal) of the Primera División . On September 2, 2013, Espanyol Barcelona announced the termination of their contract with Albín, who no longer played a role in the plans of coach Javier Aguirre . Since September 7, 2013 he has been under contract with the Romanian club Petrolul Ploieşti . There he played 23 league games (ten goals) in the 2013/14 season and was featured five times in the national cup competition Cupa României and twice in the Europa League. In the 2014/15 season, he recorded 14 league appearances and five league goals. He also played all six of his club's matches in the qualifying phase of the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League and scored one goal. However, he failed with the team in the third qualifying round, the so-called play-offs, at Dinamo Zagreb . At the beginning of 2015 he moved to CD Veracruz in Mexico . There he played 59 first division games (13 goals) and eleven games (three goals) in the Copa México . In mid-July 2017 he was loaned to Dinamo Bucharest . So far (as of August 10, 2017) he has played two league games (no goal) and two matches (no goal) in the Europa League qualification for the Romanian first division club.

National team
