Rafael Del Valle (* 16th October 1967 in Santurce , Puerto Rico ) is a former Puerto Rican boxer and boxing champion of the WBO in the bantamweight .

Professional career

In 1989 he started his professional career successfully. On May 13, 1992 he boxed against Duke McKenzie for the world championship title of the WBO association and won by technical knockout in round 1. He defended this belt twice, on March 24, 1993 against Wilfredo Vargas with a victory by technical knockout and on June 19, 1993 against Miguel Lora by a victory on points. In July 1994, Del Valle lost him to Alfred Kotey on points.

In 1998 he ended his career.
