Rafael Rivera

Rafael Rivera (* 1925 ; † March 23, 1991 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ), also known by the nickname El Zurdo ( Spanish for "the left-hander "), was a Mexican football player who at the beginning of his career mostly as a striker and later more often in Midfield acted.

"Zurdo" Rivera played at least from 1947 to 1956 at Club Deportivo Guadalajara , for which he played a total of four cup finals during this period (all of which were lost) and scored a total of 31 goals for his club in the Liga Mayor .
