Rafael Suzuki

Rafael Suzuki (born August 13, 1987 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian automobile racing driver .

Career

Suzuki began his motorsport career in 1998 in kart racing , in which he was active until 2008. Among other things, he won the South Brazilian Championship in 2006. In 2007 he made his debut in formula racing and was 13th in the South American Formula 3 championship . After finishing third in the Asian Formula 3 in winter, Suzuki started in the German Formula 3 Cup in 2008 . He was third on the podium twice and finished the season in seventh place overall. In 2009 he stayed in the German Formula 3 Cup and improved to fourth overall with a second place as the best result.

In 2010 Suzuki moved to TOM’S in the Japanese Formula 3 championship . While his teammate Yūji Kunimoto won the championship, Suzuki decided three races for themselves and took third place in the championship. After a year break, Suzuki returned to the Japanese Formula 3 Championship in 2012, this time starting for Toda Racing . Suzuki took second place as the best result and made five podiums. In 2012 , Suzuki also took part in a race weekend in the Auto GP World Series in Brazil.
