Raffael Ganz

Raffael Ganz (born April 2, 1923 in St. Margrethen in the canton of St. Gallen , † January 2, 2004 ) was a Swiss writer .

Life

Raffael Ganz, born in St. Margrethen in 1923, grew up in Horgen and Zurich . Until 1970 he undertook extensive trips with long stays in Morocco , Spain , Finland and the USA . These gave him the necessary “material” for his radio plays, newspaper articles, photo reports and literary texts.

He worked as a copywriter and translator and wrote mostly in his spare time.

His work consists mainly of short stories . He himself said: "The 'short story' is the fever gauge of the time."
