Benita Cantieni (born February 21, 1950 in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley ) is a Swiss journalist , author and inventor of a form of therapy named after her.

Benita Cantieni was chief reporter at Blick , then editor-in-chief at Annabelle (Zurich) and Vogue Germany (Munich). She took on various advisory mandates for public relations (Bavarian Reinsurance, Estée Lauder ). After various publications (portraits, poems, anthologies) she was a lecturer at the two renowned Swiss journalism schools MAZ and Ringier . She became known for her literary portraits and reports, for example in the Sunday look. From May 1998 to September 2003 Cantieni was editor-in-chief and publisher of the fitness magazine SHAPE Germany.

Cantieni is the inventor and namesake of the CANTIENICA - method for body shape & posture . She trains people in the body health method she has developed; Their training and further education institution in Zurich has had the EduQua label since 2004 . CANTIENICA has been a registered trademark since 1997.
