history
The operation of the refinery was started on March 1, 1929 by Pétroles Jupiter . Pétroles Jupiter was taken over by Shell in 1948 . On March 31, 2008, the refinery was sold to Petroplus by Shell . Shell also parted with the French refineries in Reichstett and Berre-l'Etang in 2008 .
