The Ragazer Blanken is 2051 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Damüls Mountains of the Bregenz Forest Mountains , and is located in the municipality of Damüls in Vorarlberg . It is accessed by a chair lift for the Damüls winter sports area.
The Ragazer Blanken is a steeply sloping bare rock off the route of the Damüls circular course "Around the Walser settlement". It can be reached with the UGA Express chairlift. From the mountain station of the UGA-Express at 1,800 meters you climb 268 meters in altitude in 75 minutes to get to the summit of Hochblanken, and from there at around 2,000 meters to get to Ragazer Blanken in another 45 minutes. Sturdy shoes and telescopic hiking sticks are an advantage. Surefootedness and a head for heights required. The Sünserspitze ( 2061 m ) can be reached via a branch, the original route runs over the Sünser Joch to the Oberdamülser Alpe and to the valley station of the Sunnegg chairlift.
As the last expansion stage of the connection between the Damüls and Mellau ski areas, the Damülser Bergbahnen built the 6-seater Ragaz chairlift in 2010 until shortly before the summit of the Ragazer Blanken.
