Ragni Aud Hestad (born September 5, 1968 in Bergen ) is a former Norwegian beach volleyball player .
Career
In 1995, Hestad reached the final of the European Championship in Saint-Quay-Portrieux with Merita Berntsen , which was won by the Germans Beate Paetow and Cordula Borger . In the following year, Berntsen / Hestad achieved several top ten placements in the world series. At the Olympic tournament in Atlanta they lost to the Americans Fontana / Hanley and were eliminated in the losers' round against Beate Bühler and Danja Müsch .
