Beate Paetow (born April 8, 1961 in Leipzig , born Beate Pahlitzsch) is a former German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Sports career hall
Beate Paetow started with volleyball in Leipzig. After the reunification in the GDR she played in the Bundesliga with Hamburger SV , VG Alstertal-Harksheide and 1. VC Vechta .
Sports career beach
Beate Paetow started in Sand in 1992 at the side of Martina Schwarz and became German champion in her first two years . In 1995 she won the German runner-up and the European championship alongside Cordula Borger .
