Raha Rastifard (born February 1, 1974 in Iran ) is an Iranian - German contemporary visual artist who is based in Stockholm.

biography

Raha Rastifard is an Iranian-German conceptual artist currently based in Stockholm. Rastifard works in various disciplines, from painting to video art , photography , drawings , installations , sculptures and art in public spaces .

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the National Art University in Tehran , Rastifard obtained two master's degrees. The master's degree in European and Islamic art history and the master's degree in Iranian Studies at the Free University of Berlin .

Rastifard also completed a project study (eng. Postgraduate degree) in fine art for professional artists at an advanced level at the Royal College of Art in Stockholm .

Rastifard's works of art have already been exhibited in several European cities, including in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in connection with their nomination for the Freedom to Create Prize and in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin. Art exhibitions were also held in New York, Tokyo, Delhi and Shanghai .
