Rail Nadiroğlu Məlikov ( Rail Malikov for short ; born December 18, 1985 in Baku ) is an Azerbaijani football player .
Career
society
The 1.85 m tall defender Məlikov is also the captain of the club team, where he wears the jersey with the number 2, and a member of the Azerbaijani national football team . When FK Baku he joined from 2004 to 2007 and then moved to Neftçi Baku . In 2010/11 he became Azerbaijani champion with Neftçi, which he had already achieved in 2006 with FK Baku. In addition, he won the 2005 cup with FK Baku.
For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig to Denizlispor . After only one season he moved back to Azerbaijan in the first division to FK Qəbələ .
In Gabala he stayed again for only one season and moved back to Denizlispor for the 2014/15 season.
In the summer of 2015 he moved back to Azerbaijan to the first division club AZAL PFK Baku .
National team
Məlikov played for the Azerbaijani national football team for the first time in 2004 and played a total of 35 games by 2012.
