Raimund Kamm

Raimund Kamm (born March 8, 1952 in Lichtendorf ) was a politician of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party until 1998 . Kamm has been non-party since 1998.

Kamm attended the Geisecke elementary school and from 1961 to 1970 the Friedrich-Bährens-Gymnasium in Schwerte . He was then a learner and teacher in Protestant youth education in Haus Villigst . This was followed by a bank apprenticeship at Dresdner Bank in Dortmund and a degree in economics and social sciences in Augsburg with a focus on business administration and human resources and a degree in economics. He then volunteered in student social work in an Augsburg homeless settlement , employed as a management trainer at SEL AG in Stuttgart and worked for the Augsburg Peace Initiative and until May 17, 2005, was the managing director of Augsburger Weltladen GmbH .

In 1981 Kamm became a member of the Greens, where he was part of the district board in Augsburg. From 1986 to July 31, 1997 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

After Kamm, as media policy spokesman for the Greens parliamentary group, reported in 1996 that a third of the children in an elementary school class had used the color purple to paint a cow, the Greens demanded a ban on TV advertising before and after children's programs. The University of Marburg has refuted the alleged ignorance of the children in two studies.

  • Board of the association FORUM Together against the interim storage facility and for a responsible energy policy eV
  • Energy officer of the BUND nature conservation district group Augsburg
  • Member of the State Association for Bird Protection (LBV)

Raimund Kamm has three children and is married to Christine Kamm , a former member of the Bavarian state parliament .
