Raimund Locicnik

Raimund Locicnik , also Ločičnik , (born June 16, 1955 in Steyr , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian historian, art historian and local researcher as well as city archivist at the Magistrate of the city of Steyr.

Life

Raimund Locicnik attended the higher technical college in Krems , where he graduated from the structural engineering department. He then studied art history, journalism and philosophy at the University of Salzburg . He was u. a. worked as an employee at Salzburg state exhibitions. In Steyr he completed an apprenticeship as a restorer and later became head of the city archives of the city of Steyr.

Locicnik is also the author of numerous books with a focus on contemporary history. He is chairman of the Friends of the History of the City of Steyr and the Eisenwurzen Association.
