Rainer Borgmeier (born April 5, 1966 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Rainer Borgmeier played under coach Klaus Fischer in the amateur team of FC Schalke 04 . When Fischer coached the Bundesliga team in the 1991/92 season , Borgmeier made his debut in Germany's top division. Otherwise he continued to play with the amateurs. In the 1993/94 season he came to his second use in the home defeat against 1. FC Köln . After the season he moved to TuS Ahlen , where he played until 1996. After the merger with a few other clubs, Borgmeier played for the new club LR Ahlen the next season . In 1997 he moved to his last position as a player, at Westfalia Rhynern .

Today Rainer Borgmeier is chairman of the board of the soccer department of the national league team SuS Westenholz.

Others

Borgmeier completed an apprenticeship with the police, with whose national football team he was European champion.
