Rainer Brinsa

Rainer Brinsa (born August 1, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player and current coach.

Between 1974 and 1981 he played a total of 203 games in the 2nd Bundesliga for Borussia Neunkirchen and Eintracht Trier , scoring 18 goals. With Borussia Neunkirchen, he became champions of the Southwest Regional Football League in 1972 and 1974, and with the club in 1974 he qualified for the newly founded 2nd League South . With Eintracht Trier Rainer Brinsa had to accept relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga in 1981 and from then on played in the Oberliga Südwest . With the Mosel townspeople, he became champions of the league in 1987, but failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga at Kickers Offenbach and SpVgg Bayreuth . A year later he won the title at the German Amateur Championship with Eintracht Trier .

From April 1, 1994 to February 17, 2009 Brinsa was continuously coach of the Luxembourg club Victoria Rosport , with whom he was promoted to the national division in 2001 , reached the UI Cup in 2005 and the Cup final of the Coupe de Luxembourg in 2008 .
