Rainer Dörr (born June 4, 1955 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German soccer player and coach .

Career

The defender began his professional career in the Bundesliga with the 1976/1977 season at Frankfurter Eintracht . In 1978 he moved to the then two-part 2nd Bundesliga South for FC Augsburg. He then played one season each (1979/1980) for Würzburger FV and 1980/1981 for SpVgg Bayreuth . After intermediate stops in Homburg and Höchst, 1. FC Saarbrücken took him back to their Bundesliga squad in 1985, but he was no longer used. After acquiring his coaching license, he coached FC Eddersheim .
