Rainer Erdmann (numismatist)

Rainer Erdmann (born February 25, 1942 in Adelebsen , Northeim district ) is a German numismatist and local researcher .

Career

After elementary school, Rainer Erdmann trained as an electrical machine builder in Göttingen . This was followed by a switch to the commercial field, initially as an independent sales representative, and since 1968 businessman in Fulda , numismatist and local researcher.

In 1972 the company moved to Fulda with a shop for car painting supplies and a coin shop as a second mainstay. In 1980 the car paint division was sold and a specialty coin store with its own shop opened in Fulda: "Erdmanns Fuldaer Münze". In 2000 the business moved to its own home in Weyhers / Rhön. The coin trade was now operated as an Internet trade. The Fuldaer Zeitung wrote about this: "32 years of working life in Fulda, or: An" institution closes its gates ", coins dealer Erdmann leaves Fulda".

Private

In 1963 he married Waltraud Erdmann, nee Ullrich. The marriage resulted in two sons.

  • 1999: "Heinrich Küllmer KG. History and Stories". More than 100 years of road construction. In addition to the history of the company, it contains medals and private replacement money (salary stamps) 60 pages.
