Life

Predl grew up in the market town of Lassee in the easternmost part of Lower Austria. He has been running actively since 2008. He was active in charity for long-distance running. In addition to many smaller fun runs, he ran his first 100 km run in the Vienna Prater in 2008 - with a running time of 8:02 hours, he was the youngest ultra runner to achieve first place.

In the community of Lassee he organized a 6-hour charity run for seriously ill children. In 2012, 8,000 euros were presented.

Larger projects are the 1000 km treadmill run, the Badwater Ultramarathon in the Mojave Desert and a completed circumnavigation of the world. After a serious training fall with a fractured kneecap in 2015, he had to take a break for half a year. In 2016 he achieved the Austrian state championship title in the 100 km road race and a new personal best in the 48-hour individual run of 326 km.
