Rainer Stiller (journalist)

Rainer Stiller (born January 14, 1953 , † January 7, 2014 in Munich ) was a German journalist and author .

Life

Stiller initially wrote as a journalist for daily newspapers such as the Elmshorner Nachrichten and the Hamburger Abendblatt . He then worked as an editor for the Illustrierte Bunte and the program guide Hörzu . In 1987 he switched to the German edition of Playboy as the “editor in charge of literature and other things” . In this role he was also a member of the jury for the 4th German Crime Award in 1988. He also wrote love stories for the magazine under the pseudonym "Max Anatol", which were also published in book form as Erotic Legends .

From 1996 to 2001 Stiller was editor-in-chief of the program guide GONG , to which he also contributed numerous articles, some under the pseudonyms "Peter Faber" and again "Max Anatol".

He has also written travel literature and novels, for example for the television series Fest im Sattel and Insel der Träume .
