Rairakhol (also Redhakhol ) is a place in the Sambalpur district in the Indian state of Odisha .

It is located 60 km south of the district capital Sambalpur and 27 km north of Boudh . The national highway NH 42 ( Angul –Sambalpur) runs through Rairakhol .

At the 2011 census, Rairakhol had 15,379 inhabitants. As a city, Rairakhol has the status of a Notified Area Council .

The place was named for the former princely state of Rairakhol .
