Raiva is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Raiva belongs to the Castelo de Paiva county in the Aveiro district . The community had an area of 15.3 km² and 2312 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Raiva, Pedorido and Paraíso were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Raiva, Pedorido e Paraíso . Raiva is the seat of this newly formed community.
