Pedorido is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Pedorido belongs to the Castelo de Paiva district in the Aveiro district . The community had an area of ​​12.1 km² and 1465 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). In the municipality, the Arda flows into the Douro .

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Pedorido, Paraíso and Raiva were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Raiva, Pedorido e Paraíso .
