Rajiv
Rajiv ( Hindi : राजीव, Rājīv ; also anglicizing: Rajeev ) is a popular, male, Indian name.
Origin and meaning
The word comes from Sanskrit and means "striped". It is used in connection with the eyes of Rama in Ramayana - he is called "Rajiv Lochan", that is, the one who has eyes as beautiful as a lotus. In the younger Indo-Aryan languages (with the exception of Kannada) it stands for the " lotus flower ".
