Rakefet Zalashik

Rakefet Zalashik (* 1973 ) is an Israeli historian .

Zalashik received a PhD in history from Tel Aviv University with a thesis on the history of psychiatry in Palestine and Israel. She was an Inaugural Mirowski Fellow in Israeli Studies at Temple University in Philadelphia; In 2009 and 2010 she was Ben Gurion Visiting Professor for Israel and Middle East Studies at the Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg . She currently teaches at New York University .
