Ralf Lanwehr

Ralf Lanwehr (born November 25, 1971 in Münster ) is a professor of business administration at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences . He specializes in application-oriented issues from the areas of leadership, culture, strategy and change, which deal in particular with the implications of increasing quantification, digitization and computerization for corporate management. Specific examples are data-based job redesign in the automotive industry and kinetic visualizations of change measures in companies. One industry specialization is professional football, where, for example, he examines the use of machine learning in recruiting and talent management of professional football clubs.

Life

Lanwehr studied psychology and mathematics at the University of Münster and completed his doctorate in business administration at the Technical University of Berlin . In addition to his practical experience, he has teaching experience in German, English and Portuguese in the areas of strategy, personnel and statistics. His theoretical interests include approaches to transformational and serving leadership, innovation-promoting corporate strategies and cultural changes.

From 2012 to 2016 he was Vice Rector for Research at the Business and Information Technology School in Iserlohn . He also headed the cooperative doctoral program there with the Universidad Europea de Madrid. From 2008 to 2012 he held a professorship for business administration with a focus on human resources and international management at the international Bad Honnef - Bonn University .
