Ralf Quabeck (born September 30, 1958 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Ralf Quabeck played in the youth of MSV Duisburg , with whom he became German A youth champion . After his move in 1977 to the Rot-Weiß Oberhausen club, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1978/79 season under coach Manfred Rummel . After two years in the second division with 78 games and three goals, the shamrocks were relegated to the Oberliga Nordrhein in 1981 . Quabeck remained loyal to the club and rose with RWO under the leadership of trainer Friedel Elting in the 1982/83 season back to the 2nd Bundesliga.
