Ralf Schneider (English studies)

Ralf Schneider (* 1966 in Aachen ) is a German English specialist .

Life

From 1988 to 1994 he studied English and Romance languages ( state examination for the teaching post of upper secondary level) at the University of Cologne . From 1995 he was a research assistant at the English seminar in Cologne , doctorate there in 1999. From 1997 he was a research assistant at the seminar for English philology at the University of Tübingen , from 1999 research assistant . After completing his habilitation in 2004 at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg , he was a private lecturer in English philology in Freiburg im Breisgau from 2004 to 2005 . Since October 2005 he has been professor of literature and culture in Great Britain at Bielefeld University .
