Ralf Strehlau

Ralf Strehlau (born August 19, 1965 in Hamburg ) is a German entrepreneur and management consultant. He has been President of the Federal Association of German Management Consultants BDU eV since January 2017

Life

After graduating from high school in Hamburg in 1984, Strehlau did his military service . In 1985 he began studying business administration at the University of Hamburg . During his studies Strehlau was a member of the student organization AIESEC eV In 1988 he interrupted his studies in order to be able to work full-time as a member of the board of the German committee. Strehlau completed his studies in 1991 with a degree in business administration.

In 1991 he joined KPMG's Marketing and Strategy department as a consultant, where from 1999 he headed the strategic management practice in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Between 2000 and 2002, Strehlau was employed by Ericsson GmbH and also took on the role of Head of Marketing for the DACH region . Between 2002 and 2004, Strehlau was the managing director of Acxiom Germany and its predecessor company.

In 2002 he became self-employed as a management consultant and interim manager and was a co-founder of the company ANXO Management Consulting. Strehlau has been the company's managing partner since then. In January 2015 he was appointed Vice President of the Federal Association of German Management Consultants BDU eV. Strehlau has been the association's president since January 2017. He is also a member of the advisory board at Marketingclub Frankfurt eV.

Fields of activity

In his position as managing partner of ANXO Management Consulting, Strehlau heads the consulting focus on corporate strategy, marketing and sales and digitization. He also advises companies in the areas of e-commerce and social media, business and marketing intelligence as well as organization and change management. As an interim manager, he also oversees the control of change processes , the establishment of new business areas, the restructuring and reorganization.

Memberships

In January 2017, Strehlau took over the honorary chairmanship of the Bundesverband Deutscher Unternehmensberater BDU e. V. from his predecessor Hans-Werner Wurzel.

Strehlau is a member of the Advisory Board of Marketingclub Frankfurt eV and a member of the Independent Management Consultancies Network.
