Ralph W. Gerard Prize

The Ralph W. Gerard Prize (Ralph W. Gerard Prize) of the Society for Neuroscience is a year since 1978 conferred for outstanding overall performance in neuroscience price. It is named after the American neurophysiologist Ralph Waldo Gerard (1900–1974), one of the founders and honorary president of the Society for Neuroscience and professor at Chicago, the University of Michigan and at the University of California, Irvine . The award is endowed with 25,000 dollars (as of 2013).
