Ralph Allan Aitken (born February 16, 1863 in Kilbarchan , then Dunbartonshire , now Renfrewshire , † January 10, 1928 ) was a Scottish football player .

Career

Born in 1863, Ralph Aitken played for two teams in his club career: FC Dumbarton and Newcastle West End , which later became Newcastle United through a merger . With Dumbarton the left winger was in the final of the Scottish FA Cup in 1887 . His career ended in 1892 at the latest.
For the Scottish national football team , he played two games and scored one goal.

After the end of his career, Aitken worked at a shipyard in Fife . He died in 1928 at the age of 64.
