Ralph Emeric Kashope Taylor-Smith

Ralph Emeric Kashope Taylor-Smith (born September 24, 1924 , † 1986 ) was a Sierra Leonean diplomat .

Taylor-Smith studied analytical chemistry at Kalamazoo College , Princeton University and Fourah Bay College , where he became an associate professor . From November 26, 1971 to October 1974, he was the first Sierra Leonean ambassador to Beijing ( People's Republic of China ) and was also accredited to North Korea . Taylor-Smith was then High Commissioner in London until 1978 .
