Fleck's works are thematically devoted to the seemingly banal everyday: bookshelves, house facades, mountains of rubbish or landscapes can be objects in the picture. Through the impasto and expressive painting style, however, the viewer is led from the subject to the formal design, that is, not the image motif, the visible object is ultimately thematized, but the painting itself as form, structure, color, design. In this way, works in consistent abstraction are consistently created .
