Ralph Kilner Brown

Sir Ralph Kilner Brown (born August 28, 1909 in Calcutta , † June 15, 2003 ) was a British hurdler .

In 1933 he won silver over the 400 m hurdles for England starting at the International University Games with his personal best of 54.8 s and in 1934 at the British Empire Games in London bronze over 440 yard hurdles in 56.0 s.

In 1934 he became English champion over the 440 yard hurdles. Because of an injury he had to do without a start at the 1936 Olympic Games , where his Godfrey won gold in the 4 x 400 meter relay and his sister Audrey silver in the 4 x 100 meter relay.

Ralph Kilner Brown was a judge on the High Court of Justice and ran unsuccessfully for the Liberal Party in the British general election.
