Ramūnas Garbaravičius

Ramūnas Garbaravičius (born August 29, 1956 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian businessman and former politician .

Life

After graduation in 1974 at the Aleksonis Middle School in Žaliakalnis Ramūnas Garbaravičius completed in 1979, the diploma in mechanics as a mechanical engineer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Kauno politechnikos institutas . From 1981 to 1992 he worked at the Kauno technologijos universitetas as an engineer and assistant. From 1992 to 1996 he was director of UAB "Genys". From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Kaunas Municipality Council . From 2004 to 2008 he was a member of the Seimas .

Garbaravičius was a member of the Tėvynės sąjunga .

Garbaravičius has a knowledge of Russian, English and Polish languages.

His father is Jonas Garbaravičius, an energy economist, lecturer and lecturer at the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute. His mother, Gražvyda Sofija Murkaitė-Garbaravičienė, is a pediatrician.

His brother Arvydas Garbaravičius is a politician and a socially committed person. The other brother is Saulius.
