Lachmipersad Frederik "Fred" Ramdat Misier (born October 28, 1926 in Paramaribo ; † June 27, 2004 ibid) was a lawyer, politician and President of Suriname .

Misier was (at the time of the military dictatorship) the third President of Suriname in the period from February 4, 1982 to January 25, 1988, initially installed in office by ex-dictator Dési Bouterse . For many years he also served as President of the Supreme Court and played an important role in Suriname's return to democracy . His successor in office as president was Ramsewak Shankar .
