Ramunė Visockytė
Ramunė Visockytė (born April 9, 1967 in Gargždai , Klaipėda district ) is a Lithuanian journalist and politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in Gargždai from 1974 to 1985, Visockytė completed a diploma in journalism from 1986 to 1992 at Vilnius University in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . From 1985 to 1986 she worked as a correspondent for the newspaper “Pajūrio buitininkas”, from 1987 to 1990 in the cultural monument protection inspection in Klaipėda , from 1990 to 1996 for the weekly UAB “Mažoji Lietuva”, 1996, from 1997 to 1998 for the daily newspaper “ Vakarų ” ekspresas ”from UAB“ Brolių Tomkų Leidyba ”. From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the Seimas .
Visockytė has been a member of the Darbo partija since 2004 .
Visockytė has the daughter Teodora (* 1993).
