Alexander Spritzendorfer

Alexander Spritzendorfer (born February 23, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian cultural manager and politician ( Greens ).

Life

Spritzendorfer is the son of the actor Gerhard Dorfer . After school years in Germany and Switzerland, he graduated from the BRG Krems in 1981 and began studying pharmacy. In 1985 he founded the label " Spray Records " and released, among other things, the record Harri Stojka Express "Live". In 1992 he founded “Spritzendorfer & Rossori Künstlermanagement & Verlags GmbH” together with Mario Rossori, which looked after artists such as Papermoon , Alkbottle , Unique 2 , Rauhnacht and Count Basic . In 1996, BMG Ariola Austria acquired the company. “Spray Records” was continued as a BMG label and was managed by Spritzendorfer until 1999. In 1999, Spritzendorfer switched to “ Libro Entertainment GmbH”, where he built up the “Intonation Recordings” label. Intonation Recordings released “20 Years U4 ”, “ Falco , a Cybershow”, “ FM4 Soundselection” Volumes 5 to 7 and artist albums by Fred Everything, Total Chaos, Drahdiwaberl (“cake instead of words”), superhero rock star and Megablast.

In 2003, Spritzendorfer moved to the cultural department in the parliamentary club of the Greens . From 2004 to 2007 he was regional manager of the Green Carinthia, from 2007 to 2010 club director of the Greens in the Lower Austrian state parliament. Spritzendorfer has been the deputy head of the Josefstadt district since 2010 .
