Mario Rossori

Mario Rossori (born July 10, 1959 in Lucerne ) is an Austrian music producer and publisher.

Mario Rossori studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and obtained his master's degree in 1984 . He then founded the company Johnny Concerts with Georg Leitner (sponsored by Austria Tabak) and organized major events in Austria (Rod Stewart in the Klagenfurt Stadium and on the Hohe Warte in Vienna) and European tours (James Brown, Kool & The Gang, Stanley Clarke, Commodores). From 1986 he worked in advertising and marketing and in 1991 joined forces with Alexander Spritzendorfer . Spray Records and the music publisher Rossori produced, published and managed the artists: Beat 4 Feet, Alkbottle , Unique II, Stella Jones, Count Basic and Papermoon . From 1996 to 1999 he was a consultant for pop music at mica.

From 2000 to 2009 he organized the Amadeus Austrian Music Award . Since 2000 he has also worked as an independent music publisher for the artists Papermoon, Denk , Anik Kadinski and B-Nice. In 2001 he founded the indie label Pate Records, where artists such as Curbs, Jellybeat, My Name Is Music, Henri Joel, Eva K. Anderson and James Cottriall are released. He organizes the joint stands for Austrian music at Popkomm and Midem . He also works as a speaker for event marketing for the-art-of-event.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the protest song contest preselection jury.
