Randall Wallace

Randall Wallace (born July 28, 1949 in Jackson , Tennessee ) is an American screenwriter, film producer and director. He is also active as a book author.

Life

In the 1980s he began working as a screenwriter and producer for television. He had his breakthrough in 1995 with the script he wrote for Braveheart , for which he was also nominated for an Oscar . In 1998 he made his debut as a director with The Man in the Iron Mask .

He worked with Carlton Cuse in 2010 on a television series about the American Civil War in Virginia .
