Randi Kolstad (born May 23, 1925 as Randi Ballestad in Skien , Norway , † October 6, 1999 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian actress .

Life

Randi Kolstad was the daughter of the teacher and lecturer Thor Ballestad (1891-1970) from Skien. As an actress, Kolstad made her debut in 1951 in the film Kranes konditori . In 1954 she wrote the screenplay for the Norwegian feature film Portrettet . In 1959 she appeared together with the Swedish journalist Lennart Hyland in the Swedish-Norwegian radio program Over alle grenser ("Across all borders") in the mixed language Svorsk . Kolstad has worked in 14 different Norwegian and Swedish film and television productions in the course of her acting career. Her last appearance was in 1972 in the Norwegian television series Fleksnes fataliteter.

From 1946 to 1955 she was married to the actor Lasse Kolstad . After the divorce, she then remarried and took the family name of her new husband Borch .
