Mojżesz Dawid cherry brown

Mojżesz Dawid Kirszbraun (* 1903 or 1904; † 1942 in the Warsaw Ghetto ) was a Polish mathematician.

Mojżesz Dawid Kirszbraun finished school (Kreczmar-Gymnasium) in 1922 and then studied together with his classmate Adolf Lindenbaum at the University of Warsaw . He later worked as an actuary for an insurance company. He died in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942 .

Kirszbraun is known from Kirszbraun's theorem, named after him, about the continuability of Lipschitz continuous functions in Euclidean space . This sentence originally comes from his master’s dissertation (1930), a further development was published in 1934 in Fundamenta Mathematicae .
