Rangoon Radha ( Tamil : ரங்கூன் ராதா) is a 1956 Tamil film directed by A. Kasilingam . It was produced by the Mekala Pictures film company.
action
A flashback shows the evil intentions of Dharmalinga Mudaliar. He is married to Rangam, but he would also like to marry her sister Thangam in order to be able to absorb the entire fortune of his in-laws. He locks Rangam up and declares her insane. The trapped gives birth to a son and finally escapes her martyrdom in disguise. Unrecognized, she witnesses how Dharmalinga kills a tantric trickster who had promised him to strengthen his sexual powers.
In Rangoon , Rangam is under the protection of Naidu. She has a daughter named Radha.
In the cinematic present, Nagasundaram falls in love with the now grown-up Radha. He turns out to be the son of Dharmalinga. Together with Radha, he unmasked his villainous father and avenged his mother.
