Rank 1 is the joint project of the two Dutch trance producers Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij . The duo is one of the most successful trance projects in the Netherlands.

Career

Piet Bervoets and Benno De Goeij met in 1997 at a mutual friend's party. After the first publications, the name Rank 1 was created in 1998 . The biggest hit of their careers came in the spring of 2000 when their single Airwave reached the top ten of the British singles charts. It was followed by numerous club hits, including the remix of superstring of Cygnus X . In 2002, the two released their first album under the title Symsonic .

In addition to their own recordings, Rank 1 made a name for itself with remixes for other artists, including names like System F , a pseudonym of Ferry Corsten, ( Cry ), Baby D ( Let me be your fantasy ) and Push ( Journey of life ).
