Jan Johnston (born February 21, 1968 in Salford , England ) is a British singer .

biography

Jan Johnston began her musical career in the early 1990s with Tony Kirkham as the pop duo JJ . The duo had a record deal with Columbia Records and in 1991 released an album called "Intro ...". After the band project did not bring the desired success, she changed the music style and released new singles in the field of trance and electronic dance music . As a guest singer she worked with Paul Oakenfold , BT , Cosmic Gate , Paul van Dyk and Tiësto, among others .

Some of their singles have been remixed by various DJs. One of the most successful of these was the remix of their single Calling Your Name by The Thrillseekers .
