Raoul Carton
Raoul Maurice Jean Carton (* 1879 in Blois ; † July 7, 1934 in Paris ) was a French philosopher.
Life
Carton was a Catholic priest and professor of philosophy at the Collège Stanislas and the Institut catholique in Paris. His main research focus was the Franciscan Roger Bacon . In 1930 he published an essay on the importance of Augustine for Boethius, which has not been outdated to this day .
