The city park Rapoldi is a park in Innsbruck .

It is located in the Pradl district between Sill and the existing residential buildings on Leipziger Platz. After the abandonment of the old gasworks, the park was expanded to the north and, together with the banks of the Sill and Inn, forms a continuous green space to the northeastern outskirts. The Rapoldi pond is in the center of the park .

The park is named after the Tyrolean politician and journalist Martin Rapoldi (1881–1926). Rapoldi was Vice Mayor from 1919 to 1923, and from 1923 City Councilor in Innsbruck.

The Salige sculpture by Hans Plangger , which was designed in 1944 for the National Socialist Gau capital, completed in 1953–1954 on behalf of the Innsbruck city administration and corresponds entirely to the National Socialist image of women , still stands in the park today .

The city park Rapoldi is located next to the Sillpark shopping center and is often mentioned in the media in connection with crime, especially drug offenses and the murder of a young woman in 2005. As a result, "protection zones" with extended police powers were established and parts of the park were video-monitored. However, these measures were also criticized as being ineffective and restricting fundamental rights.

In 2018 72 cameras were installed in the park to raise the subjective feeling of security of the visitors to the park.
